Born and raised in Beaumont, Texas, Silas Feemster carries the raw soul of Gulf Coast grit in every note he plays. Steeped in the traditions of Texas blues legends and raised in this run down oil town, his sound blends swampy rhythm, hard-earned emotion, and a touch of Southern rock swagger.

 

With influences ranging from Lightnin’ Hopkins to ZZ Top all the way to modern torchbearers like The Black Keys and Gary Clark Jr., Silas Feemster brings the old and the new together with authenticity and edge. Whether fronting his band onstage or playing a stripped-down solo set, he delivers every lyric like it’s the truth — because it is.
